Milk Toast Republicanism

If anyone had any doubts whatsoever that the Republican Party has lost its manner and is no longer a true friend to the core conservative values of individual liberty and restricted government, those doubts ought to be put firmly to rest regarding the current debate in Washington over the proposal for socialized health care advent out of the far left. it's no wonder that conservatives, folks who in reality believe in the Constitution, are upset with Republicans who time and again run out to stand before the cameras and at Tea Parties to proudly proclaim how a lot they understand us and that they will stand with us only to stab us in the back with the longest and sharpest knives they are able to find on any given day once the crowds have dispersed.

Joe Lieberman And The Far Left Democratic Party

Senator Joe Liebermam who just lost the Connecticut Democratic Party primary has registered to run for a fourth term as an 'independant Democrat'. Senator Lieberman was, it seems, too moderate and too non partizan for the new far left Democratic Party. It seems that, nowdays, if you prefer to run for office as a Democrat you have to toe the far left line and you have to agree to denounce and fight everything the Republicans put forth. it is Ok to lie, it is OK to cheat but do not you dare agree with anything a Republican

Obama and the Spirits of History

On November 4, 2008 at more or less 11:00pm Central time, Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States of America. Obama and his beautiful wife, Michelle, bring grace and belief in the future of possibilities that has not been seen or felt in the White House since John and Jackie Kennedy, our 35th President and First Lady from 1961 to1963. In the hope-filled, decisive, yes-we-can victory of the Obama campaign, the spirits of every person and every event that came before him exploded in continuity, clarity and

It's Time to Kill the Two Headed Beast - The Two Party System

After 2008 Election Primaries, I joined the Libertarian Party. I had been a life-long Republican. In college, after doing research on the Vietnamese War, the Democratic Party's hypocrisy considering the suffering of the Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians under Communism disgusted me. I could never vote for a Democrat after that. They clearly did not love or believe in freedom enough to support the Southeast Asians and keep their commitments, and they certainly didn't care what happened to them after the Communist victory. it's no

Is it the Democrat Or Democratic Party

When the Democrat party is referred to in the media or by other commentators, it's often referred to as the Democratic party. In a bi-partisan manner, both parties are democratic but one by name is the Democrat party. Is one manner of saying it correct and one manner incorrect?

Even if one is not a stickler for words, this presents an interesting question. Going to dictionary.com, and

The State of the Democratic Party Presidential Race

Senator Hillary Clinton is struggling to keep her democratic nomination alive today though she was the overwhelming favorite just three months back - in December 2007.

The reason for this is simple: Senator Clinton's almost-perfect certitude in December 2007 that she would prevail. That certitude was reasonable by most objective measures. Senator Clinton did not come to that
